Money Transmitters

2026

Sculpture

Money Transmitters are sculptures created to attract money and abundance into one’s life.
Drawing on the language of antennas and broadcasting devices, they transmit the inherent value of money by tapping into the realm of symbols, beliefs and personal experience. Like magic dust, banknotes are sprinkled within the sculptures, turning them into instruments of transmission. In their shredded form, the banknotes may have lost their monetary value, but their symbolic charge remains.

Work developed for ‘A Kind of Exchange’, an exhibition at the Bank of England Museum curated by Saskia Boersma and RCA tutors Alkesh Palmar, Ekua McMorris and Susannah Haslam.

Materials: Wood, PP Plastic, Shredded banknotes
